Senators from the Peoples Democratic Party have insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari be impeached following the security situation in the country and the state of the depleting economy.
During the plenary, the senators staged a walkout.
The senate minority leader, senator Enyinnaya Abaribe had raised a point of order to see to the discussions and impeachment of the president because of the security situation in the country.
However, the senate president, Dr Ahmad Lawan asserted that the point of order falls on its face.
