It has been revealed that two Russian embassy employees were reportedly killed in a suicide bombing attack in the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday.
Kabul police spokesperson Khalid Zadran said the suicide bomber blew himself up among a crowd outside Kabul’s Russian embassy in the city’s police district seven.
According to him, “Security forces targeted the suicide bomber before he could reach his intended goal which caused an explosion,” Zadran added.
The police official said the area had been cordoned off and comprehensive investigations were underway.
