Segun Ademola Popoola, a Nigerian politician from Ibadan and past state house of representative, has died.
Popoola died in 2022 after a long battle with incurable liver and kidney illnesses. He was 46.
However, the media adviser Adebo Ogundoyin confirmed that the lawmaker died on Wednesday.
Mr Oyetunji confirmed that Popoola had died, but he would not comment on the details. The late lawmaker is from the PDP, who was elected in 2019.
