A plane carrying ten passengers and one crew member veered off the runway during takeoff in Migori, Kenya, on Monday afternoon. The air charter company confirmed that there were no injuries or fatalities.

“I was in my compound next to the airstrip when I saw the plane attempting to take off. It lost control and stalled at the end of the runway,” One witness, Moses Ywera, described.

Photos from Kenyans.co.ke showed that a fire engine and ambulance from the Migori County Government quickly arrived at the scene after the crash.

The incident occurred during takeoff around 12:30 pm on Monday, September 16. The plane, identified as belonging to Z. Boskovic Air Charters with registration number 5Y-ZBW, veered off the runway.

In a statement, Z. Boskovic Air Charters confirmed they have contacted the relevant authorities, who are investigating the crash. At the time of publication, the cause of the incident had not been disclosed.
