One-year-old Ghanaian Ace Liam makes history as he becomes world’s youngest artist

One-year-old Ghanaian Ace Liam has set a new Guinness world record to become the Youngest Male Artist five months after attempting the record.

Liam who started painting when he was six months old, according to his mother, Chantelle Eghan, attempted the Guinness World Records in Accra between January 18 and January 20, 2024.

According to Eghan, Liam applied to attempt the record around when Nigerian chef Hilda Baci broke the longest cooking record.

The online confirmation letter said: “We are thrilled to inform you that your application for Youngest Artist (male) has been successful, and you are now the Guinness World Records Title Holder!”

“You are now eligible for one complimentary Guinness World Records certificate. You can order your complimentary certificate and purchase further certificates for your new record by visiting the Guinness World Records store.”

The previous record holder, Dante Lamb, achieved the feat at the age of three in 2003.
