The Nigeria Airforce (NAF) has warned members of the public, particularly job hunters against being hoodwinked by NAF recruitment advert in the social media, saying the Service is not currently recruiting personnel.

NAF Director, Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, on Monday, in Abuja, said that “NAF is not recruiting” and warned applicants against falling prey to job scammers.

Gabkwet stated that the job advert in the social media did not originate from NAF, adding that the service had just graduated recruits of Basic Military Training Course 43/2022 on July 8.

He said NAF would always keep the public in the know whenever it was recruiting fresh personnel.

“The public is please once again reminded that recruitment and selection process into NAF is free and without any form of gratification. Anyone who pays money under any guise does so at his or her own risk.

“Furthermore, NAF recruitment process is devoid of recruitment agents, hence anyone who claims to be operating in such capacity on behalf of the NAF is a fraudster.

“NAF wishes to advise prospective applicants to promptly report anyone who solicits for payments to the nearest NAF Unit or the NIgeria Police Force,” Gabkwet said.
