The grain deal facilitated by António Guterres following the Russian invasion, amid concerns over the blockade of Ukraine’s agricultural exports via the Black Sea, was signed in Istanbul on 22 July.
The JCC announced their establishment 5 days after the announcement of the Initiative, and the first shipment of commercial goods gave just this week.
These three key Ukrainian ports are used to transport cargo from Ukraine to other ports around the world.
JCC, the Istanbul based negotiating body of the nations involved in the deal announced that a merchant ship bearing 12,000 metric tons of corn destined for Turkey is to leave (at) a port in Ukraine.
There is a 13,041 ton cargo of corn that is set to depart on Friday. It will be destined for Teesport, in the north of England. The Navistar is also set to leave with 33,000 tons of corn, bound for Ringaskiddy, Ireland.

One ship at anchor, Fulmar S, has been authorized to come closer to shore, pending inspection. In the meantime, it is now near Istanbul.
There will be an inspection when the cargo arrives in the Turkish naval zone.
The JRCC plans to authorize the movement of M/V Razoni, an inbound ship. This will be their second ‘proof of concept’ for operations in the corridor. They plan to rewrite and improve the corridor so that it is can still maintain safety, but has more efficient passage for ships.

“Their movement will result in vacant pier space, which is used to dock ships. This allows inbound ships that carry food to the global market to come in without difficulty.”

One cannot ship a commercial vessel into any given area that someone might deem unsafe.
We, the Jordanian Coordination Committee for the Entry of Goods (JCC), will watch over the ships delivering humanitarian aid as they cross into Jordanian territory.
