The Gaza Strip witnessed tragic events on Saturday as Israeli attacks resulted in fatalities and injuries among Palestinians.

Witnesses from the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza reported that a gathering of civilians near a school housing displaced persons was targeted by Israeli bombings.

Consequently, several dead and wounded individuals were rushed to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia and Al Awda Hospital in Jabalia for urgent medical attention.

The ongoing Israeli airstrikes in the camp and surrounding areas have created logistical challenges for medical teams tasked with transporting the deceased and providing care to the injured.

In the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources reported that at least six individuals were killed, and five others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike. The Kuwait Hospital in Rafah admitted the injured for treatment.

Witnesses stated that Israeli forces targeted a residential building in Khan Younis, resulting in casualties and injuries among Palestinians.

Israel persisted with its offensive in the Gaza Strip, disregarding a UN Security Council resolution that called for an immediate cease-fire.

Since last October, nearly 35,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have perished, while over 79,300 others have been wounded in the aftermath of a Hamas attack.

Despite persistent calls for a cease-fire, Israel’s campaign persists, leaving large portions of Gaza in ruins and subject to a severe blockade hindering access to vital necessities such as food, water, and medicine.

The International Court of Justice has leveled accusations of genocide against Israel and issued directives to prevent further civilian harm and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza’s inhabitants.
