Greece Wildfire Claims Four Lives In Nine Days

Four people have so far lost their lives to the wildfire in Greece since the rage began about nine days ago.

State broadcaster, ERT, reports on Wednesday, that a 45-year-old person
died in a fire that broke out in the Magnisia region.

On Tuesday two pilots died when a plane deployed to help put out the blaze on the Greek island of Evia crashed in the coastal town of Karystos.

The Greek Air Force said 34 year old pilot Hristos Mulas and 27 year old
co-pilot, Periklis Stefanidis, died in the crash.

Also, a woman lost her life in a fire near Platanos village in the Almiros region.

Several countries have reached out to help Greece put out the blazes, which have burned houses and forests.
