Former President Trump’s speech in New Hampshire has sparked a lot of controversy and criticism. He compared himself to Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years in prison for fighting against apartheid in South Africa.
Many people have denounced this comparison as absurd and offensive, given Trump’s record on race relations and human rights.
Trump also claimed that he is facing political persecution and that the government is trying to silence him.
He said he is not afraid of going to jail for life, because he is doing it for a reason. He accused President Biden of being weak and incompetent, especially on foreign policy issues such as the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Trump’s ratings among historians are very low, according to a recent C-SPAN survey. He ranked 41st out of 44 presidents, the lowest of any president in the past 150 years.
He received the worst scores on moral authority and administrative skills, and his highest score was on public persuasion.
His ratings among Republican voters, however, remain high. He is still the most influential figure in the party and a potential candidate for 2024.
Joe Biden’s ratings among all adults are also below 50%, and his approval rating is 41%, with 56% disapproving. His strongest standing is on economic management, but he faces criticism on immigration, foreign policy, and public health. His ratings are also divided along partisan lines, with Democrats supporting him and Republicans opposing him.
The USA 2024 presidential race is still far away, but there are already some polls and predictions about the potential candidates and outcomes.
Former President Trump is still the most popular and influential figure in the Republican Party, and he has not ruled out running again in 2024. However, he is also facing legal troubles and low ratings among historians and the general public.
President Biden is also facing challenges and criticisms on various issues, such as immigration, foreign policy, and public health. His approval rating is below 50%, and he is tied or trailing behind some Republican contenders, such as DeSantis and Haley.
Other possible candidates for both parties include Sanders, Romney, Kennedy, West, and Ramaswamy.
