Chevron International LLC and Tethys Ltd have sealed a deal with Texaco branded lubricants in Nigeria. The deal is a Branded Business Development Agreement that will permit the local production, distribution, and marketing of Texaco’s product.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the firms; stating that the BBDA would enable Nigerian motorists access to Texaco-branded premium performance automotive and industrial lubricants. This includes engine oils, transmission fluids, gear oils, greases, and hydraulic fluids.
Chevron noted that Tethys is an experienced marketer and can be banked on to deliver. The company advised people to look forward to the supply of quality Texaco-branded lubricants.
“Tethys is an experienced marketer in Nigeria, and we are proud to be entering into this relationship with them to introduce our exceptional range of lubricant products.
“Texaco’s journey in Nigeria began decades ago. As we commence this strategic relationship with Tethys, consumers in Nigeria can look forward to the supply of quality Texaco-branded lubricants.

It’s a win-win for both our customers and the country, as we eagerly anticipate making Texaco-branded lubricants a household name in Nigeria once again,” said the Managing Director of Tethys Ltd, Habib Bello.
