Carlos Alcaraz of Spain showcased an extraordinary level of play, decisively defeating Serbia’s Novak Djokovic with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) in the final of Wimbledon.
The match, a rematch of last year’s championship, saw Alcaraz dominate early, swiftly taking control of the first two sets with his powerful groundstrokes and sharp net play.
Djokovic, known for his resilience, fought back in the third set, but Alcaraz maintained composure, ultimately clinching the victory in the tiebreak.

This includes two Wimbledon wins, a U.S. Open championship in 2022, and a French Open triumph last month.
The defeat prevented Djokovic from claiming his 25th Grand Slam title, which would have allowed him to surpass Margaret Court on the all-time list and match Roger Federer’s record of eight men’s singles titles at Wimbledon.
