A judge ruled against Amber Heard on Wednesday.
Amber’s legal team had filed docs claiming one of the jurors committed
fraud
It is more likely that juror 15, who shares the same name as juror 15’s
father and lives with the father, was fraudulently seated on jury duty.
The actress’ lawyer argued that justice is not served when a juror uses
fraudulent means to get himself seated on a jury.
It is legally troubling for someone who was never summoned to appear and
serve on a jury, in a case such as this.
Penney Azcarate shut down the demand on July 13. The judge that presided
over their case judged to have Juror 15 investigated.
There was no fraud because the summons did not include a date of birth.
The judge said that the plaintiff’s motion was “sour grapes” in a court
case. The only reason she is doing it now is because she lost the case.
