The Algerian Football Federation has offered Jose Peseiro a staggering $90,000 monthly salary to coach the Desert Foxes.
Peseiro, alongside Carlos Querioz and Vladimir Petkovic, is among the candidates being considered to replace Djamel Belmadi as the head coach of the Algerian national team.
According to Algerian news outlet, DZ Football, the Algerian Football Federation is eager to appoint Peseiro as the country’s new head coach.
The Portuguese coach is reportedly considering his options following the expiration of his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the conclusion of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles secured second place at the competition.
During his tenure with the Super Eagles, the 63-year-old earned a monthly salary of $50,000.
Tunisia is also reportedly interested in the former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela coach.
