All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State has berated the performance of the state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde in the area of performance.
Speaking during his declaration to contest for the governorship election in 2023 held at the party secretariat, Oke-Ado, Ibadan the ex-Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor maintained that God had told him that 2023 was the right time for him to become the governor of the state.
Adelabu promised to extend the dividend of democracy to other zones if elected as governor of the state in 2023.
He revealed that all people in Oke-Ogun, Ibarapa, Ogbomosho, Oyo, and Ibadan are in support of his ambition, stating that APC is ready to unseat the incumbent state governor under the leadership of Seyi Makinde.
He however promised all-around development across the state, saying that all zones in the state would experience a dividend of democracy if elected as the governor come 2023.
“As you can see there is no development in our dear state which we can boost and I believe it is time we take over the state from Makinde who had destabilized the economy of the state.
“Schools, hospitals, and education are nothing to write home about in Oyo state. Security is poor while a lot of residents have lost their lives.”
” I’m confident of picking our party ticket and I promised to change the face of the state if elected,” he said.
Also, a leader of the party, Senator Ayo Adeseun urged the party members to support the mandate of Adelabu who is a complete man both in governance and in business.
Present at the programme includes Honourable Saheed Akinade-Fijabi, Alhaji Sarafadeen Alli, and Mr Moses Alake, among others.
