Kamsiyochukwu Umeh the overall best candidate in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), has been given a N2.5 million award by the President and Chief Executive Officer of Erisco Foods Limited, Dr Eric Umeofia.
Kamsiyochukwu scored 99 in Chemistry, 98 in Mathematics, 97 in Physics and 66 in English, totalling 360 in the UTME.
She is a student of the Deeper Life High School, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Umeofia said he was touched by Kamsiyochukwu’s interview with the Saturday PUNCH.
Dr Umeofia, according to a source, also announced cash awards for the school administrator, teachers taking the four subjects Kamsiyochukwu excelled in the UTME, including two other top students of the school.
