An actress, Eniola Badmus, has declared her resolve to charge to court, a user of TikTok, Ego Okoye for defamation.

This was contained in a statement by Eniola, in a video clip which confirmed the arrest of Okoye.

Okoye had allegedly made a viral posting wherein she had said Eniola had been “arranging ladies for politicians.”

The video clip revealed Okoye’s voice when she referred to Eniola as a ‘PIMP’.

In the local social parlance, a PIMP means a person (particularly a female) who controls prostitutes, and arranges clients for them, and thereafter getting a certain percentage of their earnings for her role.

Okoye was also said to have mentioned in the clip that some time Eniola had tried to matchmake her friend with a politician.

But a trending video has shown that the actress could not give a definite reason for Okoye’s arrest for an alleged defamation of her character. Okoye was seen pleading for her release.

According to reports, Eniola rather than being categorical in her statements, had allegedly said: ” Don’t worry, we are going to court. This is the girl that called me a professional pimp. Have I pimped you before? You just decided to spoil my name. That your friend, where is she? You must provide her, don’t you have the friend again? She must come back, she will be your witness.”
