Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp has disclosed his readiness to consolidate with UEFA Champions League after missing the Champions League to Manchester City on the final day.
Klopp still hopes to lead the Reds to glory in the Champions League against Real Madrid on Saturday in Paris.
So far this season, Liverpool has won both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup; they will be hoping for a treble this weekend against LaLiga Champions.
Klopp believes a seventh European crown would be the perfect response to narrowly losing out on league title number 20.
“But this season is incredible and will end next week. We have five days to prepare for the Champions League finals, and we hope for a positive result at the end of the day. We face an incredibly experienced team but that’s OK. Losing the league today (Sunday) increased the desire to put it right next week.
“You can’t do more than give your absolute best, that’s what the boys did. I couldn’t be more proud, we had to chase the best team in the world to the wire, and we will go again. We will build the team again and go again.”
