The prosecutor handling the case of alleged organ trafficking involving the former Deputy Senate President and his wife has insisted that the boy, David Ukpo, who alleged that he was coerced to donate a kidney to Ekweremadu’s daughter, Sonia, is 15 years old.
Embattled Ekweremadu appeared before the British magistrate court over the alleged organ charges on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to July, Thursday, 7, 2022 at Westminster Magistrate Court to enable the UK Attorney General, Suella Braverman, to determine whether the case will be tried in the country or Nigeria.
